The chime is designed to hang horizontally and does not feature a pushbutton light. It is not intended for recessed installation. The dimensions of the chime are as follows: a width of 10 inches, a height of 16.75 inches, and a depth of 4.25 inches. It operates on a 16-volt transformer. For sound settings, you can select either an 8-note or 4-note chime for the front door, while the second and third doors utilize a single-note chime. The chime is housed in a rosewood cabinet, which is accented with a traditional medallion inset.
When installing the chime, it is essential to use at least 18-gauge wire throughout the setup, including from the button to the chime transformer, from the transformer to the chime, and between chimes if installing more than one. Only a 16-volt transformer should be used. The chime comes with a 1-year warranty for your peace of mind.
